Requirements to Qualify:

If you meet the following Canada Business Visa eligibility requirements, you can apply for a Canada Business Visa:

You intend to visit Canada temporarily to explore new business opportunities.
You want to invest in new business relationships or strengthen existing ones.
You plan on staying for less than six months.
You have no intention of entering the Canadian labour market.
Your primary place of business and source of income is outside of Canada.
Your company's profits will be earned outside of Canada.

Canada’s basic entry requirements Eligibility for a Business Visa:

You have a valid passport.
You have enough money to cover your expenses and return home.
You intend to leave Canada at the conclusion of your visit
You pose no criminal, security, or health risks.

When you arrive in Canada, you must have the following documents with you:

A valid passport or travel document.
Some applicants for a Canada Business Visa may require a valid temporary resident visa.
If you have a Canada Business Visa and require an eTA, you must travel with the same passport that you used to apply.
letters of support from your parent company and an invitation letter from the Canadian host business or a Letter of Recognition from the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
If applicable to the visit, warranty or service agreements, contracts, and so on.

proof that you have enough money for both your stay in Canada and your return home as a holder of a Canada Business Visa.

Additional Information:

The following factors will disqualify you from obtaining a Canada Business Visa:

If you work for a non-Canadian company with which a Canadian employer has a direct contract, you will not be granted a Canada Business Visa; the foreign company will require a work permit.
A contract exists between a Canadian company and a Foreign Service provider or individual. Because the Foreign Service provider or individual in this case is receiving payment from a Canadian source, he or she does not qualify for Canada Business.
You will not be granted a Canada Business Visa if you intend to work in Canada and require a Temporary Work Permit.
